A Note About Pricing: Staying Committed to Our Customers

First and foremost, thank you. Your ongoing support fuels everything we do, and it means the world to us. You've come to expect clarity, care, and consistency from our team at dRC — and that's exactly what we intend to keep delivering, even as we navigate shifting global economics.

Beginning July 9th, 2025, you’ll notice small adjustments to our prices. We've postponed this action as long as we could - this isn’t a move we take lightly - and we want to be as transparent as possible about what’s behind the change..

 What’s driving this?

•  The British pound has strengthened by nearly 10% against the U.S. dollar in 2025 alone, which has raised the cost of imported goods and materials from the U.K. (Schumacher Racing) and their related markets.
•  Ongoing tariffs remain a major factor—stacking additional costs on top of already-elevated base prices of most all the products we carry:
  • United Kingdom: Currently 10% on most industrial and specialty goods
  • China: Currently 34% on many imported materials
  • Hong Kong: Also 34%, in alignment with China’s rate

These tariffs are not baked into the original cost of goods—they are added on top of what we already pay. dRC has been absorbing these cost wholly since April 5th of 2025 just to maintain the quality and availability of the parts and supplies we depend on.
